NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE COBEP SPEC 2019
The Organizing Committee of the 5th IEEE Southern Power Electronics
Conference, joint with the 15th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference has
decided to extend the deadline of full paper submission to the COBEP/SPEC
2019.
The new deadline is now on June 30, 2019.
The major topics of interest include, but are not limited, to:
• Power converter topologies and design
• Multilevel and high power converters
• Power electronics in HVDC, HVAC, and FACTS
• Modeling, simulation and control in power electronics
• Power semiconductor devices, packaging, magnetic materials and passive
components
• EMC and EMI
• Smart grids, microgrids and utility applications
• Renewable and alternative energy systems
• Electrical energy storage systems
• Automotive, aerospace and transportation applications of power electronics
• Industrial, commercial and residential applications of power electronics
• Power electronics in lighting applications
• Power quality, harmonics and reactive power compensation
• Energy harvesting
• Wireless Power Transfer
• Emerging topics in power electronics
• Education on Power Electronics
Prospective authors are invited to submit a 6 pages (A4 size)
double-column full paper, explaining the problem to be addressed, author’s
contribution, how it is different from the closest existing literature,
the major results and their significance.
The articles must be submitted in pdf format, accordingly to the templates
available at:

The conference proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® digital
library.
